About the Role: International Sales in Renewable Energy
As International Sales Manager, you'll be at the heart of our commercial efforts. You'll take ownership of the sales process and driving growth in Sweden and internationally. You’ll structure our commercial efforts in Sweden and international markets, navigate highly regulated markets, build customer relationships and win contracts. You’ll be working closely with our CCO and CMSO to ensure successful expansion.
This is a role for someone who’s strategic yet highly hands-on, who thrives in a result-driven sales environment with the ability to open doors, establish relationships, win customers and close high-value deals. We value previous international sales experience, but we hire on attitude, curiosity, and ownership. This is a rare opportunity to shape the commercial future of mission-focused hydropower company, making a real difference in energy sector.
Your Main Responsibilities will be to:
- Drive and structure our commercial expansion efforts in Sweden and internationally
- Navigate the highly regulated energy market and overcome potential barriers
- Develop sales funnel of hydropower operators and establish relationships with high-value customers
- Understand the customers situation and priorities and develop our win strategy
- Win customers and structure customer contracts
- Deliver on sales milestones, and continuously aim for better sales results
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering and leadership
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., government, institutions, hydropower operators)
- Create documentation of customer, dashboards for transparency of progress of development of sales funnel
- Continuously strive to improve our way of working, defining new processes and structures
Required Qualifications – International Sales Experience in Clean Tech
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 8-10 years international sales experience, leading commercial efforts preferably in growth and expansion context
- Relationship builder who easily can read and connect with customers
- Excellent communicator, comfortable in leading customer meetings on your own
- Dynamic and results-driven sales professional with ability to open doors and win customers
- Experience from navigating highly regulated and conservative markets
- Collaborative can-do attitude, willing to go the extra mile to deliver results
