We are looking to expand our team with brilliant minds who want to develop our technology and join our mission, and are now looking for a Business Development Manager.
As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving our commercial growth in Sweden and international markets. Working closely with our Chief Commercial Officer, you will help shape our customer engagement strategy, identify new opportunities and convert such opportunities to customer contracts. Important is to develop strong, long-term relationships with hydropower operators and other energy stakeholders.
This is a hands-on role for a commercially driven professional who enjoys establishing relationships, understanding customer needs, winning new business and closing high-value deals. The role is strategic yet highly hands-on, and you should thrive in a result-driven sales environment. You will be part of a small, high-impact team where your work will directly contribute to our expansion in a highly regulated and strategically important sector

Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Support the CCO in developing and executing our business development strategy in Sweden and internationally.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the hydropower sector.
- Initiate and manage dialogues with potential customers, building trust and understanding their priorities, and driving towards a commercial contract
- Help prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.
- Maintain and update the sales pipeline, ensuring transparency and clear reporting on progress.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover from business development to project delivery.
- Assist in market research and competitive analysis to inform sales strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings.
We are looking for the following qualifications:
- M.Sc./BA in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the energy or infrastructure sector.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships quickly and credibly.
- Comfortable communicating with a range of stakeholders, including technical teams and senior decision-makers.
- Organized and proactive, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Experience in renewable energy and hydropower markets is a plus.
